A K-12 public school in Crete, NE, is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide services for the 2025-2026 school year. This part-time contract position involves working approximately 2.5 days per week, supporting students across all grade levels with a caseload reflective of the K-12 population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in meetings related to student performance, including IEP planning and review
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent credentials
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience or interest in working within school settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in children
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in an educational environment
