Position Type: Part-Time | School-Based
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a school district in Surry County, NC. This is a great opportunity for an OT looking for a part-time school-based position while making a meaningful impact on students' academic success, independence, and daily functioning.
Position Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to students in an educational setting.
Help students develop fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and functional skills.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other related service providers.
Develop and implement individualized therapy goals based on student needs and IEP requirements.
Conduct evaluations, document student progress, and maintain accurate records.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current North Carolina occupational therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Ability to provide individualized, student-focused therapy services.
