Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain before the assignment begins
- Previous experience working in educational settings, preferably with school-aged children
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP processes
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Document progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school guidelines
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and engagement
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language development
