School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Dewey, Arizona

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and current SLP – CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Arizona
- Experience supporting preschool-aged children in school or clinical settings
- Strong competence in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver evidence-based therapy to preschool students
- Document student progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with all legal and district requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, families, and additional service providers
- Facilitate small group and individual therapy sessions
- Attend scheduled meetings and professional development as needed
- Offer guidance to families and staff regarding communication strategies
- Assist with transition plans for students moving on to the next grade level
