Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for SLP licensure in Michigan
- SLP-CCC preferred; exceptional Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates will also be considered
- Previous experience in school settings is highly valued but not required
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and work collaboratively with multiple teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a diverse range of needs
- Conduct student evaluations and re-evaluations as required by federal, state, and district mandates
- Assist in managing caseload overages, ensuring that students receive timely support regardless of surges in need
- Collaborate effectively with educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate, timely data and documentation in compliance with school policy and legal requirements
