School Speech Language Pathologist - Detroit, Michigan

Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Speech and Language Impairment (SB) endorsement
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working with developmentally disabled students is preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as specified in IEPs
- Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Engage students using creative, evidence-based teletherapy and in-person techniques
Position Details:
- Full-time, onsite from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm
- Caseload includes middle school through age 26 (one school location)
- Contract assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 7, 2027
Pay: This position offers highly competitive compensation, paid weekly.
