Make a real difference in educational settings by supporting student growth and communication skills in an onsite, full-time role. Work collaboratively with dedicated school teams near Detroit, MI, providing speech-language services to children whose caseloads are intentionally kept below the state maximum for quality, individualized care. Two positions are available for a contract opportunity covering the full academic year from August 17, 2026, through June 23, 2027.
What we’re seeking:
- Michigan-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to perform evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and work seamlessly with educators, families, and allied professionals
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in all student interactions
You’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments and providing therapy for a caseload below 60 students, ensuring focus on individualized achievement
- Writing evaluation reports and treatment plans in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to best meet student needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing functional communication goals
- Tracking progress, completing documentation, and maintaining up-to-date records
