Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Detroit, Michigan

Working approximately 30 hours per week across 4-5 days (with part-time schedules considered), you'll serve a caseload of 52 students, delivering impactful speech therapy services that help each child reach their unique potential.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience or strong interest in working in school or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and progress documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to assigned students, adapting interventions per student needs
- Maintain accurate records and necessary documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings as a valued interdisciplinary team member
