School Speech Language Pathologist - Canton, Michigan
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time contract position in Ypsilanti, MI, serving students in grades K-12. This role requires a licensed SLP in the state of Michigan, and we welcome applications from both experienced professionals and Clinical Fellows (CFs). Candidates must be available to work onsite, and those open to travel opportunities will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
Qualifications:
- Current Michigan state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
- Ability to work onsite with flexibility to travel if required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week; part-time candidates will be considered
- Start date: ASAP through June 5, 2026
