This role is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about supporting PreK-12 learners and interested in providing direct, in-person services across several school settings. With full-time hours and a diverse caseload, you'll have the chance to collaborate with educators and foster communication skills among a wide-ranging age group.
Currently, seven openings are available, offering a variety of experiences depending on the grade level and school assignment. Whether you’re skilled at engaging young learners or connecting with high school students, there’s a fit for your expertise!
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure in Michigan (SLP - CCC preferred)
- Experience or interest in school-based settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide services in person
- Organizational abilities to manage a caseload of 60 or fewer students
- Flexibility to work across one or multiple school sites, depending on the assignment
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students across PreK–high school
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Develop and monitor progress on IEP goals
- Maintain and update all required documentation
- Travel between school sites as assigned (some positions based at a single location, others at two or three schools)
This full-time opportunity includes around 32 hours weekly, with caseloads purposely kept manageable to focus on meaningful interventions. Settings include elementary, middle, high school, or combinations, offering variety to match your professional strengths.
