School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Destin, Florida

As a valued contract professional, you’ll work on-site within a welcoming and collaborative school environment just north of Destin, FL. The assignment begins August 11, 2026, and runs through June 1, 2027. Opportunities exist for both single-site and itinerant assignments across different age groups, ensuring variety and meaningful connection in your caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License (required)
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time (up to 37.5 hours weekly)
- Comfortable with either a single school or itinerant model (placement based upon final caseload)
- Fingerprinting clearance through AHCA Clearinghouse; timely credentialing for JLA badge (up to 10 business days)
- Commitment to on-site service provision only
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality assessment, intervention, and therapy services to students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to age 22
- Collaborate closely with educators, paraprofessionals, and families to facilitate students’ communication goals
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Travel between school sites may be required for itinerant placements
