What We’re Looking For:
- Current, active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License
- Strong preference for previous school-based experience
- Availability to work full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week, throughout the school year
- Must be prepared to complete fingerprinting and secure necessary credentials prior to start
- Adaptability and teamwork, with a passion for impacting students’ speech and language development
In This Role, You Will:
- Serve a single school location each assignment (Northwood Elementary or Southside School-PreKD), providing direct speech-language therapy
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary or PreK students
- Maintain thorough documentation, attend team meetings, and support multidisciplinary learning environments
- Adjust therapy approaches to meet evolving student and school needs
