Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Des Plaines, IL

Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
- Ability to conduct speech/language assessments and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for empowering students in their speech, language, and communication development
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based direct and indirect speech therapy to students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals according to State and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and academic success
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, services, and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise in speech-language pathology
- Offer classroom interventions and consultative services for teachers as needed
