A rewarding opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric and school-based therapy. This contract position is situated in Aurora, IL, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a strong likelihood of Extended School Year (ESY) services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to K-8 students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy to a diverse caseload, focusing on pediatric speech and language disorders in an educational setting.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress notes, reports, and compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently without the support of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and school staff.
