A short-term contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services for students from Early Childhood through 12th grade. This position focuses on Extended School Year (ESY) programming, running from June 15, 2026, to July 26, 2026. The role requires in-person work at a school setting in Des Plaines, IL.
Responsibilities include collaborating with educational staff to deliver speech-language therapy tailored to students' individual needs, primarily serving students with disabilities. The position operates Monday through Thursday, 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM, with extended hours of 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM on the first and last day of the contract.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working within school settings, from Early Childhood through 12th grade
- Ability to work independently and engage effectively with students and educational teams
- Candidate must be a fully licensed SLP; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible
