Speech and Language Pathologist in Des Plaines, IL
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students from early childhood through 12th grade. This role focuses on providing speech therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The assignment runs from June 15, 2026, to July 26, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person speech-language pathology services to students, Monday through Thursday.
- Provide direct therapy sessions from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM; on the first and last days, sessions will conclude at 3:15 PM.
- Work with a diverse student population within the school setting, focusing on speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) for speech-language pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with students from early childhood to 12th grade.
- Must be able to provide services independently; SLPA or Clinical Fellowship candidates are not eligible for this role.

- In-person attendance is required.
