This position offers the opportunity to work as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic K-12 school setting within the Chicago, IL area. The role is structured as a full-time contract for the current school year, providing a rewarding environment to support students’ communication development.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) credential preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is an asset
- Skilled in delivering speech-language evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring within a K-12 environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored treatment plans
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to optimize outcomes
