This position offers the opportunity to work as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic K-12 school setting within the Chicago, IL area. The role is structured as a full-time contract for the current school year, providing a rewarding environment to support students’ communication development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) credential preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is an asset
  • Skilled in delivering speech-language evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring within a K-12 environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored treatment plans
  • Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to optimize outcomes
