A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP Clinical Fellow (CF) to support K-8 students at a center-based academy serving mild to severe needs in the northern Denver suburbs. This role is ideal for candidates interested in travel assignments who are ready to provide comprehensive speech therapy services within a supportive district that welcomes both new graduates and experienced clinicians.

Location:

  • Northern suburbs of Denver, CO
  • Worksite at a K-8 center-based school serving approximately 40 students with moderate to severe needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and document findings accurately
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services based on student IEP goals
  • Manage service notes and maintain timely documentation
  • Act as case manager for students receiving speech therapy as their sole related service
  • Follow monthly speech minutes schedules
  • Collaborate with educational and clinical teams to support student progress

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification; Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentials are required or in progress (please specify status)
  • Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship will be provided supervision
  • Colorado Department of Education credentials must be verifiable through the public database
  • Experience or interest in working with mild to severe student needs in schools
  • No acceptance of SLP-As, VOCO, or hybrid roles; strict compliance with district staffing policies

Interview Process:

  • Initial screening interview via Teams with the Director of Integrated Services (15-30 minutes)
  • Second interview is a panel, preferably in person but virtual is possible (30-45 minutes)
  • Scheduling availability primarily on Mondays and Fridays for prescreen calls
