A contracted Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Denver, CO, serving students in grades K-8. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language instruction to support individual student needs within a school setting. Working onsite approximately 28 hours per week (.7 FTE) from ASAP through the end of the school year, this position involves collaboration with special education staff and families to enhance student communication outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Special Education Teachers to develop daily schedules and coordinate testing and annual IEP meetings.
  • Maintain accurate speech and language caseload lists for integration into the master Special Education roster.
  • Deliver tailored speech-language services through resource room, inclusion, or pullout formats aligned with students’ IEP goals.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and families to monitor and support student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience serving at-risk or special education students is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities essential.
