Speech Language Pathologist in Littleton, CO
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student communication and language development in a school setting located in Littleton, CO. This role is ideal for professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience in school-based speech therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance students’ communication skills and academic progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and evaluations in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive support for each student.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working in school settings delivering speech therapy services to children of various ages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and school staff.
- Familiarity with educational regulations and best practices related to speech-language services in schools.
