Qualifications and Credentials:
- Current NC SLP license
- North Carolina Teaching Certification
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
- ASHA CCC required
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities with students, families, and colleagues
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy services to students
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborating closely with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise as part of the school’s multidisciplinary team
- Supporting compliance with school and state requirements
