Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an SLPA program
- Active Florida licensure as an SLP-CCC or SLPA
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP procedures and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to accommodate varying student needs and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop targeted treatment plans and implement therapy aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with all state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and updates
