Make a meaningful difference for students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary learners in a welcoming school environment! As part of a dedicated team, you will help foster communication and language growth, supporting students’ academic and social success throughout the school year (July 28, 2026, through May 26, 2027). This contract position offers a variety of rewarding opportunities to impact young lives while advancing your professional experience.
What You Bring:
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification required (willingness to obtain both if not already held)
- SLP-CCC or CF status accepted; also open to Speech-Language Assistants certified through GaPSC
- Strong ability to tailor evaluation and therapy approaches to elementary-aged students
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate student records in accordance with district and state standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support personnel, and families to maximize student progress and engagement
- Contribute insights and strategies during IEP meetings and interdisciplinary conferences
- Support a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student achievement and growth
