Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (either required; both will be needed eventually)
- Open to Clinicians holding both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellowship (CF) credentials
- Certification for Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs) through GAPSC welcomed
- Experience providing services in a school-based setting, preferably at the elementary level
- Proficient in individualized student assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech-language therapy services to identified elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Conduct evaluations, progress assessments, and provide documentation per district requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and caregivers to foster student achievement
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and special education processes
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential student records
This position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, giving you dedicated time to focus on your students. The assignment runs from late July 2026 through May 2027, providing the consistency needed to build strong therapeutic relationships.
