Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure/certification (SLP-CCC) in Michigan
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and educational staff
- Ability to design and implement IEPs and deliver therapy in both group and individual settings
- Flexibility and reliability to adapt to a school schedule and changing caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and deliver direct speech-language therapy to students
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and comply with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best support student IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary approaches
- Prepare reports and recommendations to support student success
- Support a positive learning environment, fostering students’ confidence and communication abilities
