Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience with school-based SLP services, including IEPs, assessments, and student support
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms (for remote candidates)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and student populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy for students, both in-person and via teletherapy
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and support IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting in line with school and state requirements
- Participate in professional development and team meetings to optimize student outcomes
