This contract position is located in the Dearborn, MI area for the 2026-2027 school year. Available assignments include either a 4-days-per-week or 2-days-per-week schedule, offering you flexibility to fit your lifestyle. Two openings are available, each dedicated to playing a vital role within an engaging educational setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active, valid SLP state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly valued, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered
- Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Dedication to fostering language, social, and academic growth for students
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to upper elementary students individually and in small groups
- Screen, assess, and monitor students’ speech, language, and communication needs in coordination with educational staff
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals, tracking student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for each child
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
