What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license (Michigan or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based SLP services preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Passion for supporting children’s social, emotional, and language development
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 52 students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Potential to extend assignment through the fall semester
Position Details:
- Contract role starting ASAP, with opportunity for extension
- Flexible scheduling: 4–5 days per week, approximately 30 hours (part-time options considered)
