Speech Language Pathologist in Canton, MI
Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed to support a public school district in Ecorse, MI. These contract positions start ASAP and run through June 26, 2026, with the possibility of extending into the next school year. One SLP will focus on supporting K-12 general education students within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, without active Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Responsibilities include providing speech therapy services and completing report writing to track student progress.
The second SLP will work primarily with lower elementary students, delivering evaluations, managing IEP caseloads, and completing required reports. Both positions require strong communication skills and collaboration with school staff to support student learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Skilled in conducting speech and language evaluations and interventions
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and complete documentation in a timely manner
