Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is strongly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Competence in assessment, intervention, and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in educational speech-language pathology
