Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Experience with a diverse elementary-aged caseload preferred.
- Familiarity with IEP development and Embrace IEP software is highly desirable.
- Ability to provide both group and individualized speech/language therapy to students with a variety of disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students, focusing on a range of communicative challenges.
- Work 32.5 hours per week onsite, with hours from 8:15am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday.
- Serve in a self-contained classroom three days weekly, supporting students with more intensive needs.
- Provide pull-out speech/language interventions two days each week.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to optimize student progress.
- Complete assessments, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
