High School K-5 School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Yuba City, California

This contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for pediatrics and a wide range of school-based experience. Work with diverse caseloads spanning early childhood, elementary, and secondary grade levels, from Pre-K all the way through high school.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with pediatric populations, ideally across grades Pre-K to 12
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with IEPs and compliance with legal requirements for school-based therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in early childhood, elementary, and secondary school settings
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language services
- Design, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Provide consultative support, resources, and training to teachers and staff as needed
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
