Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at a supportive school setting near Dallas, Texas. You’ll work with an average caseload of 60 students, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality speech and language services. Ideal candidates will bring their expertise as a Certified Clinic Competency (CCC) SLP, but recent graduates ready to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will also be considered—with comprehensive supervision provided to ensure your success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license (Texas) or eligibility for licensure
- CCC preferred; strong CFY candidates welcome with supervision available
- Prior experience in schools or working with elementary-age children is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and implement evidence-based intervention plans
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and IEP records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide resources and training for staff and parents regarding communication development
