Begin your assignment in August and remain through October, working three days a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday—from 7 am to 3 pm. Caseload support is structured, with approximately 40 students shared between two dedicated therapists, ensuring individualized attention and manageable scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Previous experience or comfort working in school-based settings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of speech-language therapy services, including direct intervention, evaluations, and consultations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in accordance with student needs
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and track student progress
- Work closely with another SLP to co-manage the caseload, ensuring comprehensive support for each student
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication and language strategies
