Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to provide full-time services in a school setting. This contract position is based in Tomball, TX, and spans the 2026-2027 school year from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027. The role focuses on delivering direct speech and language intervention to support student communication needs across diverse grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for compliance with regulatory and school standards
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultative support as required
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school-based settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders common in pediatric populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff
- Ability to manage caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
