School Speech Language Pathologist - Spring, Texas
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Katy, TX, located approximately 30 minutes west of Houston. This contract position is onsite and seeks professionals with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) may also be considered starting in April.
The role requires commitment to full-time schedules, with consideration for part-time candidates willing to work 2, 3, or 4 full days per week. Partial day scheduling is not available. This position demands hands-on involvement; candidates interested only in assessment or supervision duties will not be considered.
Preferred candidates will have experience working in public school environments and must possess experience with pediatric populations. Strong clinical skills and the ability to deliver direct therapy services to students are essential.
Key Qualifications:
- SLP with CCC or CFY status, or SLPA (consideration starting in April)
- Experience with pediatric speech-language services
- Preferably experienced in public school settings
- Availability for full-time or specified part-time schedules (2-4 full days)
- Commitment to onsite work
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborating with educational staff and families
- Completing assessments and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs)
