This part-time position is designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) interested in making a meaningful difference while working with a manageable caseload of young learners. You’ll be working with approximately 22 students, providing services and expertise in a collaborative educational setting.
This role is ideal for those with pediatric SLP experience and is open to professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Ohio SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA certification (CCC) or current Clinical Fellow
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with educational teams and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive student support
- Offer guidance and consultation to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies
