Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current, active Indiana SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Experience in schools, ideally K-12 settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and compliance
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
- Ability to adapt and thrive in an itinerant position across multiple locations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other team members
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in line with the IEP system utilized by the district
- Participate in contract review processes, attend board meetings, and adhere to district credentialing requirements (background checks, fingerprints, etc.)
- Provide flexible, responsive intervention—whether on-site or via teletherapy as assigned
