Enthusiastic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for contract opportunities in a supportive school environment near Crown Point, IN. There are three openings available, all for certified SLPs (CCC preferred; no SLPA roles at this time). These positions offer the opportunity to make a positive impact on students from preschool through middle school, working collaboratively with educators and support staff.
Opportunities span multiple schools, including intermediate, elementary, and middle grades. Each role features a consistent seven-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and room for flexible scheduling. Candidates will work with diverse student populations and caseloads, with some options providing Speech-Language Assistant (SLA) support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Current Indiana SLP license
- Experience working in school-based settings
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Passion for supporting a wide range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized therapy plans and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Take data, maintain records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Supervise or coordinate with SLAs as needed (where eligible)
- Serve students at assigned sites, with caseloads ranging from approximately 70–100 students depending on assignment
- Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and staff development as required
