Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential support to students at a single school site in Crestview, FL. This full-time role runs from August 11, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with a schedule of up to 37.5 hours per week. You will serve either Northwood Elementary or Southside School (Pre-KD), each offering a vibrant, collaborative environment focused on student development and success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health provisional SLP license required.
- Strong preference for previous school-based SLP experience.
- Ability to complete Florida fingerprinting and security credentialing, with expedited processing if prior prints are on file per AHCA Clearinghouse.
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite; this role is not open to virtual providers.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse caseload, spanning preschool through elementary.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and improved outcomes.
- Maintain timely and accurate student records in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required.
