School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Crestview, Florida

Make a difference in education as a Speech Language Pathologist in the north Florida Panhandle! We’re seeking three dedicated SLP professionals to support students at the elementary and secondary level for the upcoming academic year. This is an on-site, contract opportunity offering full-time hours, running from August 11, 2026 to June 1, 2027. You’ll work either at a single school or itinerantly between two campuses, empowering students to achieve greater communication skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License (required)
- Prior school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
- Ability to adapt to working with varied age groups and caseloads
- Completion of fingerprinting; previous prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse may be valid
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized and group speech therapy to students, PreK through age 22
- Developing and implementing IEPs in partnership with general and special education staff
- Serving as a resource for teachers and parents regarding speech and language development
- Conducting assessments and documenting progress using district-approved tools
- Participating in professional development and school meetings
