Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Georgia SLP license or GaPSC certification required (either accepted to start; both will ultimately be needed)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants welcome
- Open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLAs) certified through GaPSC
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for fostering student growth in an elementary environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, evaluations, and therapy to elementary-aged students in person
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to ensure student goals are met
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery
- Participate in ongoing professional development as required by licensure and district standards
