Speech and Language Pathologist in Andover, MN
Make a meaningful impact as a Long-Term Substitute Speech Language Pathologist in an engaging school environment near Andover, MN. You’ll work full-time, Monday through Friday, providing valuable speech services to approximately 25 students, with a service load estimated around 45.
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering school-based speech therapy, conducting evaluations, participating actively in IEP meetings, and maintaining accurate documentation and compliance. Your expertise will help students achieve their communication goals in a supportive educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Active Minnesota SLP licensure is required
- CCC-SLP preferred (district dependent)
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage IEP compliance, documentation, and therapy scheduling
- Skilled in delivering direct services and conducting thorough evaluations
- Preferred: Experience handling elementary or secondary caseloads
- Familiarity with Minnesota school compliance regulations
- Ability to transition smoothly into pre-existing caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Provide both direct therapy and comprehensive evaluations for speech students
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain and update IEPs and all compliance documentation
- Adapt quickly to established routines and caseload requirements
