Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Salem, OR
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support early childhood education programs focusing on children aged 3-5 years. This contract role offers a 190-day work period from ASAP through June 10, 2026, serving Salem and South Marion County communities. The position involves 40 hours per week and welcomes both onsite and virtual SLP professionals to provide specialized speech and language services to young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children aged 3-5 years
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to early childhood needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Deliver therapy sessions either virtually or in-person with attention to each child’s developmental goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and participate in regular team meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and certification suitable for school settings
- Demonstrated experience working with early childhood populations (ages 3-5)
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and early intervention strategies
