Speech and Language Pathologist in Corrales, NM
This position offers an opportunity to provide essential speech-language support to elementary students within a school setting. Located in Corrales, NM, this contract role involves working onsite for 37.5 hours per week, focusing on delivering individualized therapy to support student communication development.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to elementary-aged students
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote student success
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in meetings and contributing to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC, Certificate of Clinical Competence, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to work onsite full-time, 37.5 hours per week
