A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in the Western Region, covering PreK and elementary caseloads within K-12 schools located in Hornell and Bath, NY. This is an onsite-only, contracted opportunity serving students in the public school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in PreK and elementary grades
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide direct therapy services to students within the designated districts
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification
- Experience working with a PreK and elementary school caseload preferred
- Ability to work onsite full time within the Hornell and Bath school districts
