A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support in K-12 educational settings within the Western Region, serving Hornell and Bath school districts. This onsite contract role focuses on delivering speech and language therapy to PreK and Elementary students, ensuring their communication needs are effectively addressed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students ranging from PreK to Elementary levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to fostering a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology (NYSLP) License.
- Certification in TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) required.
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology strongly preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with PreK and Elementary caseloads.
- Ability to work onsite full-time within the Hornell and Bath school districts.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
