A Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) is needed for a full-time, maternity leave contract position in Converse, TX, servicing two middle schools with an itinerant schedule. This role supports students in grades 6-8, working with approximately 100 students requiring speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to middle school students across two campuses
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Hold a current Professional License in Speech Language Pathology (CCC required)
- Ability to undergo fingerprinting and background checks for credentialing
- Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite at both school locations with an itinerant schedule
