Desired Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP licensure (ASHA CCC-SLP required)
- Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting
- Proficiency with ECATS for documentation and reporting
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Comfortable conducting assessments, writing IEPs, and providing therapy services to diverse student populations
- Ability to adapt to various educational settings and work both independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in alignment with IEPs
- Complete assessments, develop individualized plans, write goals, and document student progress using ECATS
- Collaborate with special education teams, families, and school staff to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and expertise
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Engage in ongoing professional development to support best practices
