Speech Language Pathologist in Concord, CA

This is an in-person role—remote and VOCO service providers will not be considered. You’ll be entering a warm, inclusive environment just outside Concord, CA, where you can develop your expertise and enjoy daily collaboration with other professionals motivated to see students thrive. Candidates should be ready for a two-step interview process (initial virtual interview, followed by an in-person meeting).
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field
- Current California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Experience in school-based settings or with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment, IEP development, and therapy skills for high school population
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to in-person work (remote/VOCO is not available for this role)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat high school students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate therapy records and required documentation
- Participate fully in school meetings, interprofessional collaborations, and IEP teams
- Engage students with evidence-based practice interventions
