Desired Qualifications:
- Valid license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in school settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, creative, and flexible approach to meeting each student’s needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within educational programs
- Write and maintain accurate documentation and IEP updates in compliance with school and state standards
- Engage families in the therapeutic process, offering strategies and education to reinforce progress
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings as needed
