Travel School Speech Pathology | Columbia, South Carolina
A travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Columbia, South Carolina. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to work within an educational setting supporting students' speech and language development from August through May.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as a school-based SLP
- Experience working within a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and caseload requirements
Location and Work Environment:
- This position is onsite in Columbia, SC, requiring presence during regular school hours (35 hours per week)
